Hi Y’all! (I’m practicing my southern accent.) I’m Liesel Krueger and I’ll be joining Westminster this year as the new Head Librarian at the Carlyle Fraser Library of the high school. For the past ten years I’ve been working at private schools in Connecticut, having recently tried my hand at a university in Florida closeby to where my husband and I purchased a vacation home. However, I am really excited to get back into the high school library.
I have lived in New England all of my life completing my bachelor’s degree in New Hampshire and masters in Library Science in Boston. So, I imagine Atlanta will be quite a change! I hear it’s a fantastic city with lots to do and going on. I am currently seeking an apartment and plan on moving there at the end of the month. If anyone has any suggestions or helpful tips, I would greatly appreciate it.
As for my hobbies, well, I guess you could say I am obsessed with Tennis; I play every chance I get and will enjoy working with the girls team. I am also a big fan, so after this weekend’s Wimbledon finals, I’ll be able to resume normal activities;) Vamos Rafa!
